Arriving at school on time is important; please see school start times below!

Kindergarten - Grade 6:         8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Grades 7-8:                                     8:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.

Students arriving at school between 7:45-7:55 will be permitted to enter the building and go to the cafeteria before going to their classrooms at 7:55.

Every parent should have received a hard copy letter & a ParentSquare message with the letter attached containing both their child's classroom assignment & the supply list for the next grade by June 22nd. Please contact the school if you have any questions.

Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for August 27 at 1:00 p.m. for Kindergarten students and their families. This will be an opportunity to meet teachers and learn more about what to expect for Kindergarten Screening and the year beyond. 

Every kindergarten family should have received a letter with your child's teacher's name and HR and also a link where they can sign-up for an appointment for a kindergarten screening on 8/7/2026. If you registered AFTER 8/7/2026, we will send you the letter and link individually.

If you did not or do not receive the letter and link, please contact the school.

Every student in Malden Public Schools is provided with a free breakfast and lunch on full school days - no paperwork needed. Breakfast is provided to students as they walk into the building or directly in their classroom. Each month, you may view the breakfast and lunch menus for our schools at the link below. Be sure to bookmark the page and check at the start of each monthe to view the new menu.

Check Caregiver Portal Access

The Aspen Caregiver Portal is how Malden provides family access to student performance information, report cards, and progress reports. Be sure you can access your account by following directions here. If you cannot access your account, be sure to contact your school.
